De VIO S118R subwoofer uitgerust met een 18 “basreflexwoofer is ontworpen als aanvulling op de VIO line array-systemen in de lage frequenties. Het systeem wordt aangedreven door een Digipro G4® 1600W Klasse D-versterker, uitgerust met PFC (Power Factor Correction) en SMPS die de amp zeer goed bestand maken tegen lijnspanningsschommelingen.

VIO S118R heeft een ingebouwde delaymodule waarmee een vertraging van max. 62 ms via Aurora Net en een vertraging van max. 9,9 ms met stappen van 0,1 ms via de ingebouwde draaiknop kan worden bereikt. De ingebouwde cardioïde preset verwerkt de achterwaartse sub in omgekeerde stapel cardioïde configuraties om automatisch de best mogelijke annulering aan de achterzijde te bereiken.
