Special effects hire for your party or event
A shower of confetti at the first dance, a CO2 blast on the drop or a smoke curtain in which the lighting really becomes visible: special effects turn a good party into an unforgettable one. We rent out effects from brands including MagicFX, Swefog and ADJ. You rent them separately, or you have us set them up and operate them live.
What can you rent from us?
- Confetti: electric confetti and streamer cannons of 50 and 80 cm and the MagicFX Powershot II confetti shooter.
- CO2: the MagicFX CO2JET II and the CO2PISTOL for cold CO2 effects.
- Smoke: the ADJ VF1600 smoke machine, the Swefog K1 hazer and the Martin Magnum 650.
- Bubbles and snow: bubble machines and snow effects, especially popular at weddings and Christmas parties.
- Fluids: the right fluid for every machine.
Smoke or haze?
A smoke machine creates thick clouds for a clear effect. A hazer creates a thin, even mist that you can hardly see, but in which the light beams of moving heads and lasers become beautifully visible. Please note: many venues have smoke detectors. So always check with your venue before using smoke or haze.
Price per day of use with tiered discount
You pay per day of use, excluding VAT. Renting for longer does not simply add up: 2 days cost 1.5×, 3 days 2×, 4 days 2.5× and 5 days 3× the day price.
Pick up, delivery or installation
Pick up your effects from our warehouse on Marconistraat in Hillegom, or have it delivered to your venue in the Bulb Region, Haarlem, Leiden or elsewhere in the Randstad. Want to be completely worry-free? Then our technicians set everything up, test it and take it away again afterwards. View all options on the AV rental page.
Frequently asked questions
Can you operate the effects live?
Yes. We set up the effects and operate them live during your event, so the confetti or CO2 comes at exactly the right moment.
Will smoke set off the fire alarm?
It can. Smoke and haze can trigger smoke detectors. That is why you should always check with your venue in advance whether detectors can be temporarily switched off.
Is confetti hard to clean up?
It is not too bad, but keep in mind that some venues have rules about confetti. Check this with your venue in advance.
