Cable and power distribution hire
Every event involves more cable than you think. An extra length to the DJ booth, a DMX line to the truss or power to a tent outside: with the right cabling you avoid hassle on the day itself. We rent out solid equipment with Neutrik and Powercon connectors, which we check after every use.
What can you rent from us?
- Audio cables: XLR cables, balanced jack cables, XLR/DMX reels of 50 and 100 metres, DI boxes and audio interfaces.
- Lighting cables: DMX cables and a 70-metre CAT6A ethercon reel for networking and lighting control.
- Power cables: schuko extension cables and reels, CEE three-phase cables (16A and 32A), Powercon cables and power distributors from 63A, 32A and 16A CEE to schuko, also with residual current device.
Tip: route your cables safely
Does a cable cross a walkway? Then use a cable mat or cable ramp. That way nobody trips and your cables stay intact. Not sure about the power supply at your venue, especially for three-phase power or outdoors? Then check with us before you rent.
Price per day of use with tiered discount
You pay per day of use, excluding VAT. Renting for longer does not simply add up: 2 days cost 1.5×, 3 days 2×, 4 days 2.5× and 5 days 3× the day price.
Pick up, delivery or installation
Pick up your cables from our warehouse on Marconistraat in Hillegom, or have it delivered to your venue in the Bulb Region, Haarlem, Leiden or elsewhere in the Randstad. Frequently asked questions
Are cables included with rented equipment?
With sets we include the cables needed to make them work. If you need extra length or a different set-up, you rent cables separately.
What power do I need for my event?
That depends on the equipment. A small sound set works on a normal socket; larger systems, lighting or heaters sometimes need three-phase power. Feel free to ask us for advice.
What is a DI box and do I need one?
A DI box converts the signal from an instrument or laptop into a balanced signal. That way you send it over a long cable to the mixing desk without hum.
